Tuesday - July 12
1:00 PM - 3:00PM Gardening Workshop - Children will receive basic skills of gardening from a Lowe’s expert. Children will hand select their favorite flowers and plant them in a window planter box of their choice. Supplies are limited to the first 80 kids. Sponsored by Lowe's.
3:00PM - 4:00PM: Color with ServPro - Children can learn about home and fire safety through a fun interactive coloring book. Stop by the art tent to receive your free coloring book and box of crayons. Sponsored by ServPro.
4:00PM - 5:00PM: RSVP Craft Stations - Join the Retired Senior Volunteers. Who will be on hand to teach the ancient art of paper folding and what these symbols represent, homemade greeting cards using scrapbooking supplies, and embellish your jean jacket or pants with fabric art. Sponsored by Otsego County United Way’s RSVP.
5:30PM - 6:30PM: Lebkuchenherzen - Make non-cookie versions of lebkuchenherzen. These gingerbread (Lebkuchen) hearts (Herzen) are oversized and hung on ribbon so they can be worn as necklaces. Sponsored by Youth Advisory Committee (YAC).
7:00 PM - 9:00PM: Lampion Making - Make your Lampion for the Burning of the Boog Parade. Bring your flashlight to the art tent and we will provide the rest. Sponsored by Girl Scouts of Otsego County.
7:00PM-Lego Car Build - Build your race car using a pull-back car base, Legos and your imagination.
8:15PM: Lego Car Race - Race your parents and other children. Sponsored by Alpine Brick Exchange
Wednesday - July 13
9:30AM - 10:30AM: Let’s Read, Write, and ROAR together with Mrs. Spear - Join Annie Spear, a local teacher on Detroit Public Television’s Michigan Learning Channel and owner of Let’s Talk Literacy, LLC. Hear a story and learn about the writing process. As a child, get a chance to see how an author works to write stories, listen to one of Annie’s originals, and think about a story you’d like to write about. As a parent, see ways you can interact with children ages birth to 10 to support literacy out and about and at home.
10:30AM -11:30AM: Ocean of Possibilities Children’s Crafts - Join the Otsego County Library staff under the art tent as they introduce 3 fun and interactive crafts that highlight their summer reading program theme, Ocean of Possibilities. Sponsored by Otsego County Library
12:00PM - 1:00PM: Tommy Tropic Juggling Class
1:00PM-1:45PM: Kids Yoga with Amy Mertz - This 45 minute class under the art tent is suited best for children ages 5-10 years old. Students will build their strength, balance focus and coordination through fun yoga games, as well as partner and group poses. They will also learn about self-love and the importance of showing kindness to others. Mats are provided. Sponsored by Yoga-45
2:00PM - 2:30PM: Dance Explorers - Let Miss Julie spark your child’s dance passion with this creative dance exercise. Perfect for ages 3-5 years.
2:30PM-3PM: A Princess Ballet Adventure - Meet Miss Julie as she offers an introductory ballet class for ages 6-8 years. Sponsored by 45th Parallel Dance.
3:15PM - 6:15PM: Lego Bridge Building Contest - In this technical building challenge, teams will be given a time frame to build a bridge that challenges individuals to express their creativity and ingenuity. The team who can build a bridge to withstand the most weight without breaking wins! All teams must have a participant 12 years or under to enter into the challenge. Sponsored by Alpine Brick Exchange
6:30PM -7:30PM: Knots, Fire Starting, and First Aid Workshop - Learn how to make a heart-shaped 550 paracord necklace, a pill bottle first aid kit, and a sawdust fire starter with the Gaylord Boy Scouts. Sponsored by Gaylord Boy Scouts BSA Troop 1
8:00PM - 9:00PM: Drum Circle - Make noise with Tim Hawthorne. Beginners learn simple beats and how to keep rhythm. Expert drummers, enhance the circle with your skill. Drums will be available for use or bring your own! Sponsored by Groundation Drums

9:00AM -11:00AM: Themed Lego Building Challenges - Challenges are styled in a way that allows individuals to express their creativity and ingenuity. Teams work together to imagine and then build their model within a limited time. No one is looking at perfection but rather the best effort within the time, theme, and parts available. This minimal pressure allows for some exciting experiences. Sponsored by Alpine Brick Exchange
11:00AM - 12:00PM: Photo Booth Prop Making and Photos - Let your kids unleash their creative side as they make their own photo booth props! Afterwards, capture their creativity with a complimentary photo session in the photo booth. Photos are digital and will be sent to the cell number you provide. Supplies will be provided but limited. 9:00AM - 10:00AM: Dog Obedience Training - In this class, we will go over these requirements plus much more through interactive games and exercises that build value for yourself as the handler as well as engagement in a real life setting. Sponsored by One in a Million Dog Services
10:30AM - 11:30AM: Dog Agility Class - Dogs and handlers will be introduced to agility equipment used in UKC agility trials. Lexy from The Critter Sitter will be teaching the handler‘s necessary training skills. The dogs and handlers will have the opportunity to try some of the obstacles and get guidance as they learn new skills. All breeds are welcome. Dogs must stay on leash.
