On behalf of the Gaylord Alpenfest Committee, and the Gaylord Area Chamber of Commerce, we would like to take this opportunity to thank those who took part in Alpenfest 2021. We did not know what to expect with COVID restrictions in place, but I am happy to say that Alpenfest was a huge success where we seen record attendance, and our crafters were busy for the entire five days of the festival.
 

Many crafters from 2021 signed contracts to secure a spot for the 2022 festival, and as of this date we have about 20 booths remaining. This year’s festival runs from July 12-16, 2022, and again will be held in the streets of downtown Gaylord, MI. We attract between 70-80k people throughout the week, so the festival is always busy.
 

This year we are reaching out to crafters throughout Michigan and surrounding states, as we would like to bring in new and more unique crafters to add to the great group that we already have. We are looking for crafters that specifically make handmade items, and crafters that would perform demonstrations in front of an audience.
