Alpefest Royalty
For generations, the Alpenfest Queens Pageant has been a special part of Gaylord Alpenfest. Since it began in 1965, it has been rooted in tradition, community, and pride.
What started with the first queen has grown into something much bigger than a pageant. It is a sisterhood where young women support one another, build confidence, and create lasting friendships. It is a place where leadership is developed, and memories are made well beyond festival week.
The Alpenfest Queens program celebrates the heritage of our community while recognizing the strength and individuality of each candidate. Every participant becomes part of a legacy that continues to inspire future generations.
If you are looking for an experience that will challenge and empower you while connecting you to something meaningful, we encourage you to apply and be part of the tradition.
Young women ages 18 to 23 who have graduated from a high school in Otsego County are invited to apply.
The newly crowned Alpenfest Queen will receive a $6,000 scholarship.
Completed applications can be turned in at the Gaylord Area Chamber of Commerce.
We look forward to welcoming this year’s candidates and continuing the traditions of Alpenfest.
